I love looking in the direction of our true nature because it helps me to see just how unbelievably incredible we are, the amazing gifts we have and to take full advantage of those gifts. What a blessing.
We are human and being human, being alive, having a body, breathing, healing, walking, talking, thinking, being with each other, all these things are phenomenal, but because they are so ordinary to us, we miss just how phenomenal our ordinary is.
AND there is more to us that our humanness.
We have access to what Sydney Banks called Universal Mind, or God.
This access also gives us personal wisdom, and guidance.
We are surrounded by other people, who also have access to both universal and personal mind and guidance.
Then we live in an astounding world, we are all connected to each other and to the world. The nature that surrounds us and that we are a part of has wisdom and guidance too.
There are sights and sounds and things that happen that are beyond comprehension to us, they are so beautiful and complex and clever, and we simply can’t fathom how it all works. As we find out things about our world, even deeper mysteries continue to reveal themselves.
Life itself is a mystery.
A beautiful mystery we can live and love.
I could write pages and pages about the amazingness of who we are and the world we live in.
And it is so nourishing to look in that direction.
And there is something else in the mix too, we have the gift of free will and this gives us the ability to choose to love each other, which makes love something breathtakingly special, because it is a choice. It makes us human and not robots, life would be nothing like it is if free will and choice weren’t involved.
We can selflessly choose to put another first.
We can choose to do the right thing even when it doesn’t benefit us directly.
And we can choose to come from the love that we are, we can root our being in love.
We can stand in love and bring others back to the love that they are.
And something inconceivable happens within us when we do these things.
Love is a constant. It never goes anywhere, when we look we will always find it.
It is the strongest energy, and the strongest energy always wins.
This, along with the wisdom and guidance we have, is a powerful mix, and makes for an incredible experience of life, because love always leads to peace and harmony.
But the gift of free will also means we can use any or all our extensive gifts against ourselves too, we can root ourselves in fear.
We can over think.
We can believe the lies we hear about ourselves and other people and God. The lies can come from within, and they can come from others. Wherever we pick them up from, we weave them into stories and create a liedentity ~ an identity for ourselves rooted in fear.
And we begin to view the world through this fear.
A liedentity separates us and says, ‘I’m not good enough’, ‘I need to be in control’,
‘I can’t take disapproval’.
When we are living from our liedentity, rooted in fear, the only direction we are going in is the direction of chaos and conflict.
We become our own worst enemy and hurt ourselves and others in the process.
We all, to some extent or other, live from fear and find ourselves in chaos and conflict. It may be inner conflict, or it may be conflict with another or a group of others, or we may be a part of a group in conflict with another group.
It may be a small easily sorted conflict, or it may be an unhealthy repeating cycle of conflict.
Understanding our true nature and choosing to root ourselves in love is a brilliant way to orient back to peace and harmony, the truth of who we are.
From here we can not only be with people who have different opinions than we do, who see things differently, but we can do so in ways that are advantageous for us all when we are rooted in love.
We don’t have to agree on everything to live in peace and harmony and mutual benefit, whether that be within a family or between countries.
Love is powerful.
And coming back to love and rooting ourselves there is totally doable too, we can easily recognise the feeling of love as opposed to the feeling of fear, it’s never in the details, which is where we so often look, and end up lost and confused, it is in the feeling of the energy, or the vibration of the noise in our head.
Get familiar with that and you have mastered your guidance system.
You can play and experiment have fun and find your personal way of being an expression of Divine love.
AND it’s not on you to work it all out and iron out every detail or think of a solution or tie yourself in knots trying to get it right, because honestly it doesn’t work that way, it’s another one of life’s mysteries, as soon as we decide to live from love not fear, God steps in with wisdom and guidance, that is personal and perfect for you.
Ideas, insights, helpful people, all manner of unbelievable things begin to happen to help you.
It’s not something you can do with your logical mind, although it has a part to play and is a helpful gift to have.
The system we are a part of will wholeheartedly support us as we use our free will and help us to head in a happy healthy direction, if that is what we want to do.
If you would like to spend time with speakers like this in person and hear them share their wisdom and experience in a beautiful setting in Albir, Spain in November each year, you can find tickets here www.thevivaevent.com/registration
